Warm paper grounds, near-black ink, and a single signal red used the way an adjuster fears it: to mark what's wrong. Amber is the highlighter. Nothing else.
Headlines are short imperative sentences. Evidence is set in mono, like the documents it comes from. We state; we never exclaim.
Hairline rules, square corners, aligned numerals. David beats Goliath with a well-organized file folder, not a louder voice.
Red is rationed. It appears as the primary action, the verdict, and the annotation - never as decoration. Every text/ground pair above meets WCAG AA at its used size.
Bricolage Grotesque speaks for us. Public Sans does the reading work. Courier Prime is the voice of documents and evidence. Newsreader italic is reserved for the words of real policyholders.
Content max-width 1280px. Gutters clamp(20px, 5vw, 64px). Reading measure 62–68ch. Corners are square (2px max on controls) - paper doesn't have rounded corners.
Primary is red and appears once per screen. 52px minimum hit height. Focus rings are 2.5px red, offset - visible on paper and ink grounds alike.
